Installation of Electrical Panels, Cables, Cable Ladder & Commissioning

Kenshaw Electrical was engaged by IS Systems to partner for the electrical installation of the processing equipment on the new Fuchs Lubricants blending plant in Beresfield NSW. This project commenced in April 2017 requiring Kenshaw Electrical to work to many key deadlines and KPI’s to ensure the plant could be progressively commissioned.

This project had many unique challenges for our onsite team, as working on a major construction site is always busy and requires a lot of planning and coordination. Our onsite team had to complete multiple cable runs over 500m across numerous work areas and levels. To ensure we were able to meet the rigorous demands of food grade standards on this site, cleanliness was a major priority throughout the project. This included the use of stainless steel cable conduits throughout the plant, and the sweeping and vacuuming of work areas to ensure all swarf was collected.

The project team were able to complete the project incident free, and with over 5000 hours LTI. This ensured the project was delivered on time and on budget, allowing the client to smoothly transition to their new processing facility.

All of the Kenshaw guys were well organised, knew the job requirements and were great to work with.
